King of the Cage Returns to Citizens Business Bank Area on September 18 … “MARTIAL LAW”

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (August 2, 2016) – On Sunday, September 18, 2016, King of the Cage returns to Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California with another world-class mixed martial arts event, headlined by two World Title Fights between current champion Darren Smith vs. Ryan Fillingame for the KOTC World Jr. Welterweight Title and former champion Reuben Duran vs. Derrick Mandell for the KOTC World Jr. Flyweight Title and featuring some of the sport’s best competitors.

The main event will be for the KOTC Jr. Welterweight Title will feature a rematch between current champion Darren “Hollywood” Smith (9-6) from Irvine, California (OC Kickboxing and MMA) against undefeated “Prince” Ryan Fillingame (3-0) from Victorville, California (Team Diamond MMA).

The other title fight is for the vacant KOTC World Jr. Flyweight Title will feature former champion Reuben “Hurricane” Duran (11-6-1) from Fontana, California (C-Quence Jiu Jitsu) doing battle against Derrick “Give Em Hell” Mandell (7-2) from Dearborn Heights, Michigan (Michigan Top Team, Stars & Strikes). This will be a rematch between these two opponents where Mandell won in a five round decision at their recent bout. Mandell has won his last three fights against top ranked opponents.
