In the main event, seven time defending King of the Cage World Middleweight Champion Joey 'the Dream Smasher' Villasenor faces #4 contender Miguel 'the Murderer' Gutierrez. Villasenor returns to where he began his fight career in his last bout before a debut in PRIDE in Japan. Villasenor is on a 15 fight, 4 year winning streak, a trend he intends to continue in his home town. Gutierrez, fighting out of team Bushido in Juarez, Mexico, is undefeated in King of the Cage, and has earned his title shot by knocking out or submitting every opponent he has faced in King of the Cage in the first round. Villasenor holds a win over Gutierrez's teammate Jorge Ortiz, and Gutierrez holds a win over Villasenor's teammate Rob Smith. This bout is not only about the King of the Cage World Middleweight Championship, but also for team pride.
