King of the Cage: HEAVY HITTERS arrives at Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino on Sunday, April 2nd. This fight card features 20 full contact fighters from around the nation, ready to step into the steel cage and do battle in front of a sold out crowd.

In the main event, former King of the Cage World Heavyweight Champion Bobby 'the Truth' Hoffman takes on the Gladiator Challenge Native American Heavyweight World Champion Rubin 'Warpath' Villareal in a rematch. Hoffman won their first encounter at King of the Cage: Hitmaster in August 2004 with an armbar in the first round. Possibly the toughest brawler ever to step inside a cage, Hoffman is known for his unorthodox standup style, heavy hands, and unforgiving ground and pound. Hoffman is a true veteran of the sport, having fought all around the world at the highest level. Warpath comes off of a first round TKO in King of the Cage: Gunfather in Australia in February. Looking to put the past behind him and climb the rankings, Warpath hopes to use his formidable skills and thunderous striking to defeat 'The Truth' in a battle between two of the top heavyweights in the world.

Also in the main event is Mariposa's own Andy Maccarone, taking on one of the hardest working men in the fight game, Pride veteran Shannon 'the Cannon' Ritch. Maccarone, one of the top Middleweight contenders in King of the Cage, fights out of Team Kihon in Mariposa. The Cannon is a veteran of well over 100 professional mixed martial arts and kickboxing matches. These two kickboxing specialists promise to deliver an exciting main event bout, full of explosive striking exchanges.

MMA's hardest hitter Bo 'Redrum' Cantrell faces Brian 'the Natural Born Killer' Sesma in more main event action. Cantrell, the Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight World Champion continues to plow through opponents and the King of the Cage Heavyweight rankings on an almost unstoppable path toward another world title. Brian Sesma is the roadblock that could stop him. With three of his four King of the Cage wins by TKO, Sesma is unafraid to stand and trade with anyone. With a probable title shot in store for the winner, don't expect these devastating strikers to leave the match in the hands of the judges.
