King of the Cage would like to congratulate all of the King of the Cage
fighters who dominated in UFC and the Ultimate Fighter Shows. All four
of the winners on the cable network shows came up through the ranks of King
of the Cage.
Not only did all 4 winners come from King of the Cage, but every one of them
stepped UP IN WEIGHT CLASS, to win their titles.
Diego Sanchez - Prior to fighting in UFC has fought 100% of his career
fights at 170 pounds in KOTC and moved up to the 185-pound weight class to
win all of his fights decisively. Nick Diaz who is an exceptional fighter
has lost only twice, once to Diego on the show and the only other time to
another KOTC fighter by the name of Caro Pariysan.
Forest Griffin - Who has had only 4 scheduled fights with King of the Cage,
moved up a weight class from 185 pounds to the 205-pound weight
division to do a phenomenal job winning the Ultimate Fighter shows.
Joe Stevenson - Mixed Martial Arts career began in King of the Cage in 1999;
of his 30 cage fights 28 were fought in KOTC. Stevenson moved up from
155-pound weight class to again dominate the UFC at 170 pounds and win the
Ultimate Fighter show.
Rashad Evans - Ran through other exceptional King of the Cage fighters in
the show including Keith Jardine and Seth Petruzelli to go on and win the
UFC series finale. Prior to fighting in the UFC 50% of Rashads fights were
performed in King of the Cage
