NO HOLDS BARRED: World Sumo League Tour at the Meadowlands

On this week's edition of NO HOLDS BARRED, host Eddie Goldman reports on the June 9 stop of the international tour of the World Sumo League Tour at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ, better known as the Meadowlands.

We hear the small but enthusiastic crowd cheering at the closing ceremony for the wrestlers who were victorious that night. We spoke with Jeff Daniels, COO of Big Boy Productions which produced this event and tour, about how it has been going for the World Sumo League. We spoke with wrestlers Sidney Carty of the Netherlands, Hans Borg of Norway, and Avtandil Tsertsvadze of the Republic of Georgia, who finished in third place on June 9. And we spoke with our colleague Cynthia Chaplin of Cyn City Promotions and BE Magazine to get her take on the entertainment value provided by the World Sumo League.
